Rural Revolution

21st Century Homestead Act

A 21st Century Homestead Act to revitalize rural America by building medium-density homes in county seats or other important townships. A goal of 7500 residents in each town would benefit current residents with more services and new residents with low costs of living. Participants can own their home after 7 years, promoting affordable housing, long-term residency, and community growth in rural regions. This initiative aims to create sustainable communities and provide an avenue to homeownership for those interested

Greenhouse Initiative

The proposal for constructing large greenhouse complexes in predominantly rural counties offers an intriguing opportunity to boost economic prospects in small towns. By having these greenhouses owned by the community, residents can actively participate in and benefit from the profits and activities generated. Furthermore, the emphasis on locally sourced produce not only alleviates the strain on the overburdened southern California agricultural system but also fosters a closer relationship between individuals and the food they depend on. This initiative holds the promise of not just economic revitalization but also promoting sustainability and community engagement.

Conservation Economy

The current agricultural system, heavily reliant on cereal grains and animal farming, has reached its peak with diminishing returns annually. An alternative approach is becoming imperative to sustainably meet modern demands. Climate change has intensified the need to reduce excess carbon in the atmosphere, with plants serving as a key agent by absorbing carbon through photosynthesis process. Strategically managing plant biomass to prevent decomposition can effectively sequester carbon permanently, offering a promising solution to combat climate change that can economically benefit farmers and ranches for decades.
